Propane & Fuel Oil Service Technician

Job Description:

VEO ENERGY SYSTEMS is seeking a skilled and dependable, drug-free, HVAC Propane and Fuel Oil Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing propane, fuel oil, and heating systems, as well as air conditioning systems, and generator installations and service.

You will be required to be on a rotating call, with compensation provided accordingly. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of our clients’ heating, air conditioning, and generator equipment, while also providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair propane, fuel oil heating systems, generators, and A/C equipment.
• Perform inspections and diagnose issues with HVAC systems. Maintain and replace parts, regulators, burners, and other components.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
• Provide detailed work reports and communicate effectively with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of service visits, parts, and repairs.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an HVAC service technician, specifically working with propane and fuel oil systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety standards and NFPA codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional HVAC systems or fuel types.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally with company-supplied vehicle.

Job Type:

• Full-time

Pay:

$66,000.00 – $74,000.00 per year
